  • How does the LoanStore App work?

    1. The LoanStore App allows customers to apply online for Unsecured personal loans, Auto (vehicle) loans and Credit Cards, quickly and conveniently.  The algorithms within the App take into account the information you have provided to the Bank and issue you with a decision on your application within minutes.

  • How secure is the LoanStore App?

    1. The LoanStore App adheres to the strict security standards that govern all of CIBC Caribbean online banking applications. 

  • How quickly will I receive a decision on my loan application?

    1. You should receive a decision within 10 minutes, provided we have all the information we need.  Not all applications will be approved, and you may be required to provide additional information or to visit a Branch. 

• What information is required for the LoanStore App?
  • What information is required to apply for an auto loan through the LoanStore App?

    1. You will need to provide some information on your income, external debt and expenses, as well as confirmation of some of your personal details. 

  • What documentation is required for my loan to be disbursed?

    1. On loan approval, the App will provide you with a checklist outlining the required documentation.

  • What is the purpose of the QR code?

    1. Once the QR code is scanned, this takes you directly to the Landing Page of the LoanStore App where you will commence your loan application

  • How do I scan the QR code?

    1. ·       Open your built-in camera App (Android/ Apple device)

       ·       Point the camera at the QR code

       ·       Tap the webpage link that appears on your screen

       Follow the instructions on screen to access the LoanStore App

• Access to Online Banking and our Mobile App
  • I am a CIBC Caribbean Bank customer but I do not have Online Banking or Mobile App access. Can I apply for an auto loan online?

    1. Yes, you will be invited to sign-up for Online Banking or our Mobile App, which will provide you with the secure credentials you need to apply for a loan online.

  • What do I do if I cannot remember my Online Banking or Mobile App login details?

    1. You can log in to the CIBC Caribbean Online Banking or our Mobile App, click on the “Reset password” button to reset your password.  If you need help with your user ID, please contact CIBC Caribbean Customer Support on 1-866-743-2257.

  • Which mobile number or email address will the one-time verification code be sent to?

    1. The mobile number or email address that your verification code is sent to will be the one registered on your Online Banking or Mobile App profile for use in a two-step verification.  Please log in to Online Banking or our Mobile App, go to the ‘My Preferences’ screen where you can click on ‘Contact and Two-step verification’ to update your details if necessary.  Alternately you may contact CIBC Caribbean Customer Support on 1-866-743-2257.

  • Can I get car insurance through CIBC Caribbean if I get a loan from the bank for my new MG4 EV?

    1. Yes certainly. The CIBC Caribbean Insurance Program (“Program”) is distributed by the CIBC Caribbean Insurance Agent. The Program is underwritten and administered by CG United Insurance Ltd, the insurer.
